THE NEW CHAPTER BEGINS...
After a great summer of live shows, we would like to thank all the awesome bands that we had the opportunity to share the stage with as well as the amazing support of our diehard fans. We enjoyed performing and being able to debut some new material and add a few cover songs into our set. Our last show at Midwest Metal Anthem was one of the best shows we have ever played and the crowd response was nothing short of amazing.
We are continuing with the momentum and looking forward to the future of Eden's Fall. This, however, includes a few recent changes. Shortly after the Metal Anthem show, our guitarist Aron Sakurai decided to leave the band for personal reasons. This had been in discussions for quite a while and was a mutual decision on good terms. The 7 years that Aron was part of the band were some of the best times of our lives. He remains our brother and close friend and we wish him all the best in life and music in his future.
Fortunately, through mutual friends we were lucky to find a new guitarist very quickly and are excited to welcome Mike Hraha (formerly of Bavmorda and Christpuncher) to the band. Mike's personality and playing style are a great fit and he is extremely quick at learning our back catalog and adding his own take to the music. We look forward to his live debut, which will most likely be sometime in January or February 2015, as well as his contibutions to writing the last few songs for the new album.
We are continuing with the writing and pre-production for the follow up to our 2005 debut CD, "Harmony of Lies". Due to Aron's departure, we will no longer be including his song "Knowledge Burns", but Ray and Tony have been busy with some new ideas to complete the tracklist for the album. John has been very active with his recording studio and just last week starting drum tracking with Ray for a few of the new songs.
We are really looking forward to next year which looks like an exciting time for the band. We hope that everyone enjoys the Holidays and we will keep you posted when we book our next show for early 2015!

EDEN`S FALL - NEWS & UPDATES!
The most important update would probably be that EDEN'S FALL IS NOT DEAD!!! Since this website has not been updated since 2007, some of you may
have been wondering... We really are one of those bands that is more like a family than just a group of musicians. Even when "real life" gets in
the way and we battle the ups and downs of day job career changes, unemployment, relocation, marriages, divorces, kids, vacations, health issues,
scheduling conflicts, financial strains... we always stick together as a true brotherhood and help each other out and carry on with our music when
we can. Sometimes months go by before we can all get together to jam, but as soon as we do...
Eden's Fall carries on and we have fun creating new music
and playing the old songs again. Rest assured, we are not giving up any time soon!
These days, probably the best way to stay in touch is to find us on facebook and get the lastest about what we are up to and upcoming shows. Speaking of
which, we have TWO LIVE SHOWS coming up! So if you haven't seen us play in a while, try to make it out. We are playing this Saturday, May 12, 2012 at
Nite Cap, 5007 West Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL with special guests VICIOUS ATTACK, AIR RAID and AGE. This is an awesome lineup of Chicago Thrash Metal
so go check out these bands and support them and the Chicago scene! Show starts at 9pm and cover charge is only $7. We are playing third, so we will
probably be going on some time after 11pm. You can see the show flyer in the SHOWS section.
After that, the next gig we have coming up is the 6th Annual MIDWEST METAL ANTHEM fest that will be on September 8, 2012 at J.J. Kelley's in Lansing IL. This fest
is organized by our drummer Ray, and showcases some of the best local metal talent every year. The fest is only going to be 1 day this year, but it's
shaping up to be a killer lineup and we will be announcing more details soon.
As far as new material, we already have 8 songs completed for the next album and 1 or 2 more in the works. Song titles include: Chaos Bringer, Parasites of
Decay, Frozen, Hallow Effect, Static Acts, No One, Knowledge Burns and Tortured. We play most of these songs live, so come to one of the shows to check
them out! We are hoping to get into the studio later this summer or fall and to (fingers crossed) have our 2nd album out some time next year.
Check back every once in a while to see how things progress. We won't let another five years go by before the next update, we promise! And as always,
we want to thank all of our friends, fans and other bands for their never ending support! The Chicago metal scene is a great community of
friends who support each other and are completely dedicated to the music and the people involved. You can normally catch most of us at shows around
the area supporting both local and national acts. Come hang out and have a beer with us and rock out to some METAL!!! \m/

EDEN’S FALL Parts Ways With Guitarist ROB AQUINO
Official Press Release:
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chicago-based metal band, EDEN’S FALL and long time guitarist ROB AQUINO have mutually agreed to part ways. The band is currently working with another guitarist and plans to make an official announcement soon.
Commented bassist, Dan Gronowski: “We have been very fortunate to have had a steady lineup since EDEN’S FALL was formed in the summer of 2000. This has been a difficult decision, but everyone involved has agreed that getting a new guitarist would be best for the future of the band. There are no hard feelings whatsoever and we all remain good friends with Rob and wish him the best of luck in the future. We are very thankful for the time that Rob spent with the band and all of his contributions to our music. However, due to physical, financial and personal reasons, Rob is not able to dedicate the time needed to continue working with the band. We are currently writing new songs for the follow-up to our debut CD, “Harmony of Lies”, and hope to be able to enter the studio before the end of the year to record.”

We are very excited to announce that we will be opening for the legendary METAL CHURCH on January 16, 2007. Also on the bill are CABLE and QUICKCHANGE. Doors open at 5:00pm and bands are supposed to start by 6:00pm. We will probably go on 2nd or 3rd so make sure to get there early! It is an ALL AGES show on a Tuesday night and the cover charge is only $13. The flyer is in the SHOWS section. This will be our first time playing at the Pearl Room and we can't wait! I hope that a lot of you can make it out. It is an awesome venue and a kick ass lineup, so DON'T MISS IT!!! Please help us out by spreading the word...
Thanks for everyone who came out to support us at Madpower 2006 last month. Dave and the guys from Mirror Black put together one HELL of a show and the C.C. Riders did a kick ass job hosting the event. All of the bands were killer and it was all around a fun night. This fest keeps getting better every year and we are honored to be part of it. We posted a few pictures in the Pics Thread of our Forum. You can check them out HERE.
We are still trying to put something together for CHICAGO METAL ANTHEM 2. We are waiting for confirmation from several bands and are hoping that things can still come together for late February or early March. We will just have to see what happens. If you are in a Chicago-based metal band and are interested in playing the fest, please e-mail us or visit the CMA MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/chicagometalanthem
UPDATES & CHANGES!!!
First things first... We would like to THANK all you crazy metalheads that made it out to the CHICAGO METAL ANTHEM show on August 19th. It was a HUGE success and all of the bands kicked ass and we had an awesome time. Originally, this was going to be an annual event, but since everything went so well, Ray decided that we are going to do it twice a year. Look for CHICAGO METAL ANTHEM 2 to take place sometime in late February 2007. If you are in a Chicago-based metal band and are interested in playing the fest, please e-mail us or visit the CMA MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/chicagometalanthem
Also, there have been some changes to the date and line-up for MADPOWER 2006. It has been rescheduled from September 30th to October 21st, 2006. It will still be at The Warehouse Stage in Middleton, Wisconsin. However, there will no longer be an outdoor stage and all 12 bands will be playing the main stage indoors. The flyer in the SHOWS section has been updated to show the changes. We are going on right in the middle of the lineup, so make sure to get there early. For the latest information, check out http://www.myspace.com/madpower2006
Other than that, we are very busy IN WRITING MODE for the next CD. I know the last one took forever to be released and we learned a lot along the way. We are really pushing to make sure that is not the case this time around. We are about 50% done writing. We've got 5 songs done and hope to have 6-7 more before we schedule studio time. We played 4 of the new songs at the CMA show and they went over great. We are hoping to possibly debut another new one at Madpower. We will keep you updated as the progress continues...
SUMMER FESTIVALS!!!
Summer is here and the time is right for Metal Festivals!!! I wish we could tell you that we are flying to Europe to play one of THOSE Metal Festivals, but no one has offered to bring us out there yet (maybe next year...) On the other hand, there are a couple of cool fests going on right here in the Midwest and we are really excited to be part of them. There are a lot of great bands playing and it should be a lot of fun.
CHICAGO METAL ANTHEM will take place on Saturday, August 19th at J.J. Kelly's in Lansing IL. This is a local event organized to showcase some of the best that the Chicago metal scene has to offer. The line-up includes Eden's Fall, Twelfth Gate, Mindwarp Chamber, Ravensthorn, The Everscathed, Abolisher and Sacred Dawn. There are plans in the works for a live DVD as well as a compilation CD. So, stay tuned!
MADPOWER 2006 will be at The Warehouse Stage in Middleton, Wisconsin and will be on Saturday, September 30th. We had a blast last year at their first annual show and this year has shaped up to be much bigger and better. We will be playing the outdoor stage and the show is open to all 18+. Featured bands include Cellador, Twelfth Gate, Eden's Fall, Underthreat, Mirror Black, Ottoman Empire and Mindwarp Chamber as well as 9 other bands. There is also going to be a National Headliner for the Mainstage to be announced soon.
There are flyers with more information in the SHOWS section. The Chicago Metal Anthem flyer is good for $1 off at the door.
Lastly, we are proud to announce that one of our songs ("Planet Hate") is being featured on the Metal Crusade XII compilation CD that is distributed with HEAVY Magazine (formerly Heavy Oder Was) in Germany. The CD and magazine go out to about 30,000 people in Europe and should give us some great exposure.
ALL AGES!
A lot of people have been asking, so we booked another ALL AGES show! We will be playing at Stage 83 in Lemont, IL on April 22nd. Bands go on pretty early (2:30pm), and we are playing last... probably around 8 or 9pm. In other words, GET THERE EARLY! For a full list of bands and other info, see the Flyer in the SHOWS section. For the 21+ crowd, the only other show that we currently have booked is on June 24th at Penny Road Pub. We will keep you posted...
In other news, we now have smaller sizes of the T-shirts (Smalls & Mediums) and they have been added to the MERCHANDISE section.
Lastly, our CD is continuing to sell well and has been added to a few more online stores. For a complete list of where to buy the CD, see the thread on our forum HERE.
Updates & Changes
First of all, thanks to everyone who came out to our Penny Road Pub show last weekend. We had a blast playing and hanging out with everybody. It was cool to look out in the crowd and see such a large number of Eden's Fall T-shirts. Thanks for all of your support!
As far as upcoming shows, we have a few changes. The Hang Outs show that was scheduled for March 18th has been canceled. It seems that the bar no longer wants to have live bands... Oh well... The good news is that we were able to schedule a show for the following weekend. The show will be a Nite Cap on Saturday, March 25th with Abolisher and Crooked Nixon. We hope that some of you can make it out.
Also, the weekend before the gig, we are going to be "guest DJ's" at The Exit on Sunday, March 19th. We will be playing tunes off of our CD as well as some of our favorite Thrash and Metal tunes. Sounds like it will be a cool time, so please join us if you can.
Other updates in regard to the website include some additions to the PICTURES section. Thanks to Valerie Panos, we have photos from our last few gigs now online. We have also posted high resolution promo pictures and logos. We will be adding more photos soon.
We are still looking to book more shows. If any local bands want to do some shows together, please send us an e-mail to edensfall@edensfall.com. We will keep everyone posted here and on our Forum.
Let's Party!!!
Well... What can we say, except "Thank You!". The response to the release of our debut CD has been completely overwhelming! In the last 30 days, we have sold hundreds of copies all over the world and have orders coming in every day. In addition, we are starting to see some reviews and press. To read the latest reviews, see the Reviews section of our forum HERE.
A lot of the locals have been asking "When are you havin' a CD Release Party?" So, we are starting to book some gigs in the area. Instead of one event, we are going to try to schedule several "CD Release Parties" about once a month and spread them out all around the Chicagoland area with gigs in the various suburbs as well as a few in the city. We will keep you posted as the shows are scheduled. If you are a local Metal band and want to do some gigs, email us at: edensfall@edensfall.com
The first two "CD Release Party" shows will be on Saturday, February 25th at Penny Road Pub (The Underground) in Barrington, IL and Saturday, March 18th at Hang Outs in Wheeling, IL. For more information, see the SHOWS section of our website.

With an emphasis on song structure and melody, their music is heavily guitar driven with dual guitar rhythms and solos in addition to a solid foundation of bass guitar and double-bass drumming. For fans of NEVERMORE, TESTAMENT, EXODUS, ICED EARTH, DEATH, ARCH ENEMY and early METALLICA, MEGADETH, JUDAS PRIEST and IRON MAIDEN.
The "Harmony of Lies" CDs are now in stock and available for purchase on the band's official web site at www.edensfall.com and will be added to various other online, mail-order and conventional distribution channels, which will be announced soon.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
It's that time of year again... Happy Holidays from Eden's Fall (Dan, Tony, Ray, Rob and John). We really appreciate all of the support that everyone has given us over this past year. We ran into a lot of difficulties with the release of our CD, but all of the kind words and seeing all of our fans at shows made it all worth while. As much as we wanted to have our CDs on the shelves by the end of the year, it looks like they will be shipping in January. Everything is done and approved, we are just waiting for manufacturing. Despite all the bumps in the road along the way, the CD and packaging look and sound amazing. We learned a lot along the way and hope that everyone enjoys the results.
To tide you over until then, we have posted 60 second clips of all the songs in the Audio/Video section of our website and have added the CD (pre-order) to the Merchandise page. If all goes smoothly, we should start shipping orders by the middle of January. The CD will be available from our website as well as cdbaby.com, amazon.com, towerrecords.com and bestbuy.com. We are also looking into some other distribution channels and will keep everyone posted.
In other NEWS, we have finally found a permanent home for our Official Forum at ULTIMATEMETAL.COM You can access it from our website or by going to http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/index.php A lot of people already have accounts set up there and it is the home of other cool forums like Dan Swanö, James Murphy, Novembers Doom, Nevermore, Andy Sneap, Testament, Biomechanical and Ion Vein.
Thanks again for everything. We hope you have a great holiday season and wish everyone the best of luck in the new year. Please spread the word about Eden's Fall and our debut CD, "Harmony of Lies"
UPDATES!!!
First things first, the album is FINALLY done! Dan Swanö did an incredible job on the mix. He worked very hard to make sure that we were 100% happy with the results and his dedication really shows on the finished product. The files were then sent to James Murphy at The Safe Room, FL for final mastering. James does top notch work and was a pleasure to work with. He was able to take Dan's great mix and add the finishing touches to it in order to make it sound absolutely amazing. We could not be happier with the results and cannot wait for everyone to hear it. We are still talking to a few labels and manufacturers about releasing the disc. Hopefully, we will have an official release date soon!
In other news... The artwork for the CD booklet as well as our new logo are complete. You can view the album cover online at: http://darkprints.com/gallery/cdcovers/EdensFall_1. We are also having T-Shirts made featuring the new logo and album cover. We should be getting our first shipment next week. Thanks to Matt from Screenarchy for all his help getting everything ready so that we will have them in time for our next shows.
Speaking of our next shows... ROAD TRIP! Our friends up north from Mirror Black have invited us to join them for 2 back-to-back shows in Wisconsin on September 30th and October 1st. Lastly, we would like to invite everyone to join us on our new MySpace page at http://www.myspace.com/edensfall. If you are not on MySpace yet, you should really check it out. It is a great way to meet people with common interests and promote your music and your band.
Busy, Busy, Busy...
Things are getting crazy as we are approaching the release of our debut album, "Harmony of Lies". It has been a VERY long road over the last few years making this happen, but we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The mix that Dan Swanö has done for us is nothing short of amazing!
We are currently talking to several record labels about releasing the album. However, we do not want to delay the release any more than we have to. So, if we cannot come to reasonable terms with a label in fairly short order, we will be proceeding to manufacturing and releasing the album independently.
As you can see, the website has been updated and there will be more changes and improvements to come. Also, the artwork for the album cover and CD booklet is nearly finished and we will be posting it soon!
Other than that, we have been busy writing new material for our next album and will be playing 2 new songs on August 27th at J.J Kelley's. The show is with November's Doom and Twelfth Gate and should be an awesome show! See the SHOWS section for more info.
MIX UPDATE !
It seems that our files all arrived safely in Sweden and the mixing process has begun! Dan Swanö is back from his tour with Nightingale and ready to dive full force into the mix. In the meantime, we have a "mix in progress" that you can hear of our opening track, "Blur the Lines".

* * UPCOMING SHOWS * *
We are happy to announce that we have a few new live shows coming up this summer. We have been locked away in the studio too long and are really looking forward to hitting the stage again! The good news is that we have been busy writing some new songs and will be including two of them in our live set. We will be debuting "Chaos Bringer" and "Parasites of Decay", so be sure to make it out to one of the shows and check em out!
We will be playing on June 11th at Champs in Burbank along with Rellik, Premonition and Unsolemn. We will be going on around 9:30 - 10:00 so be sure to get there early!
The other show that we have booked is at the International Metalfest 2005 in South Bend, Indiana. It is a 2 day festival featuring bands from many different states as well as Europe. The show takes place on September 23rd & 24th. We will let you know when we find out our exact timeslot.
See the SHOWS section for more info.
CD TO BE MIXED & MASTERED BY DAN SWANÖ !!!
As some of you may have already heard, the tracks for our debut CD are being converted and shipped to Örebro Sweden to be mixed and mastered by none other than the legendary Dan Swanö ! Dan is an incredibly talented metal madman! He produces, engineers, sings and plays ALL instruments and has been involved with such great bands as Opeth, Bloodbath, Katatonia, Edge of Sanity, Nightingale, Unicorn, Ribspreader, Diabolical Masquerade, Dark Funeral, November’s Doom and the upcoming Second Sky.
Dan has taken an incredible personal interest in our project and is really bending over backwards to make sure that we are 100% happy with the final results. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and is doing some pretty amazing things for our sound.
Please be patient, the finished CD is still several months away, but we think that you will all be pleasantly surprised and will hopefully think that is was worth the wait. We are hoping for a mid to late summer release. We will keep you posted and will be putting up a link to the artwork for the album cover soon!
"METAL BROTHERS UNITE!"
Needless to say, we are shocked and devastated by the recent senseless murder of a true metal icon,
Dimebag Darrell Abbott from Damage Plan / Pantera. We think that it is total bullshit that this
happened and are only happy to know that the police were quick to respond and shoot down that asshole
murderer Nathan Gale and give him what he deserved! The only other good thing that came from this tragedy
is to see how all of the Metal bands and artists have stepped forward and come together to honor and
memorialize Dimebag.
We have seen pictures and quotes on damn near every website and publication that has anything to do
with Metal music and it makes us all realize how much we are really part of a "Metal community" and
how much this music and the people involved with it really mean to the rest of us. So, all we can do
now is stand proud, raise our fists and continue to make music that would make our fallen brother proud...
REST IN PEACE, DIME! We will miss you and will never forget the impact you made on the genre.
Along the lines of supporting the "Metal community", we are happy to announce that we have added a
Discussion Forum to the website. Click
HERE
to check it out! The forum is being hosted by www.bravenet.com. We apologize for the banner ads and
a few pop-ups, but the price was right (free) and we wanted to give our fans an opportunity to post
their thoughts and views and give them a way to interact directly with the band. So, be sure to
make yourself heard and check back often!
"PICTURES:"
First of all, we would like to thank everyone for coming out to the Nite Cap show.
We had a great time! The fans were crazy and the guys from Enforsaken, Empyrean Sky,
Withering Soul and Ravensthorn were all totally cool and put on great shows.
A few people took some pictures and have sent us links, so check out the following:

"THE FINAL DAYS OF THE STUDIO."
September 11th & 12th, 2004 will go down in Eden's Fall History as the official dates that we FINALLY finished tracking
the songs for our first album. We blocked 2 full days in the studio for tracking all remaining vocals and accoustic
guitars. We even invited our "Metal Brother" Scott Huffman from Twelfth Gate to join us to add some backing vocals.
However, none of us could have ever predicted the next 8 hours of JACK DANIEL'S induced Metal MADNESS that has resulted
in some of the most wicked choruses we have heard in a long time. To witness some of this mayhem for yourself, see
the Video page for the latest Quicktime clips.
Dispite the Sunday morning hangovers, we managed to make it back into the Studio (Granted, it wasn't until almost 6:00pm)
on Sunday to finish up.
Rob breezed through his 12-string accoustic guitar parts. John made some last minute vocal fixes and overdubs. Then Dan
spent the next 5 hours screaming his trademark Death Metal style backing vocals until he could no longer speak. As a matter
of fact, he remained pretty much unable to speak for the next 4 or 5 days...
THE PRICE WE WILL PAY TO MAKE METAL!!! We are looking forward to regrouping and coming up with our budget for the mixing, mastering
and duplication process.
Meanwhile, don't forget the show with Enforsaken, Empyrean Sky, Withering Soul and Ravensthorn on
October 2nd. See the HERE for details.
"LATEST INFO:"
Wow! What a weekend! We are recovering from an awesome time at Ozzfest this year (as spectators).
All of the bands kicked ass and we did our share of extreme partying.
It was good to see so many
people come out and support a day of METAL.
Back to reality however, I suppose it is time for an update to let
everyone know what else we have been up to.
The never-ending tracking sessions in the studio
are, believe it or not, almost complete. Rob & Tony finished all guitar solos and overdubs.
At this point, we have 2 more days (hopefully in mid September) set aside to finish tracking
acoustic guitar and the remaining backing vocals.
THE GOOD NEWS is that we have teamed up with Scott from Rebel Radio and Kim from Sound of the Fury to present a great lineup of
Live METAL in October.
We will be playing at Nite Cap in Chicago on October 2nd with
Enforsaken, Empyrean Sky, Withering Soul and Ravensthorn. See
the SHOWS
section for more info.
"APRIL 10th SHOW ADDED:"
We are playing a show with the David Shankle Group (former Manowar
guitarist) and Rival on
Saturday April 10th at Penny Road Pub in Barrington, IL (corner of
Sutton & Penny Road, 1 block West of Rte 59). The number at the
club is 847-428-0562. We go on stage upstairs at 10pm and will be
debuting a new song so don't miss it!
"STUDIO UPDATE!!!!"
Dan finished his Bass tracks!!! Next up guitar solos and overdubs.
"MARCH 6th SHOW ADDED:"
In addition to Chicago
Powerfest on February 28th and Minneapolis Mayhem on
April 24th, we have been invited to Terre Haute, IN to play a show with
our friends from Dreaming of Dragons. The show is at The Legacy, 1041
N. Fruitridge Ave, Terre Haute IN 47804. Show starts at 6pm and also
features 9mm Solution, Psychomancer, Dreaming of Dragons, Years of
Desolation and Legion. We are looking forward to making the trip over
there to be
part of this brutal lineup. Rob Smith will be filling in on bass. See
the SHOWS
section for more details.
"Back in the studio again..."
The never-ending recording process continues. John is finished with his
lead vocal parts. Dan is about half way done tracking bass. The whole
band will be going back into the studio on Feb. 21 to record backing
vocals. Then, all we will have left is acoustic guitars, Tony's solos
and we can begin the mixing/mastering/duplication process. To see more
video clips for John and Dan, Click HERE.
DON'T FORGET that Powerfest 2004 is coming up... Feb 27-28 at J.J.
Kelley's. It is shaping up to be a killer show. We are scheduled to
play on Saturday at 8:00pm. For more info, see www.chicagopowerfest.com
Also, the headliners for the Minneapolis Mayhem fest have been
announced and include Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Agent Steel and
Satyricon. Keep checking www.minneapolismayhem.com

Upcoming Show:
For anyone looking to see a great night of live METAL, we will be
performing November 1, 2003 at O'Malley's in Alsip, IL. We will be
joining our good friends from Soul's Demise and it should be an awesome
show. If you are not familiar with Soul's Demise or haven't seen them
in a while, you are missing out on some of the best original metal
being put out. They recently got a new lead singer and are stonger than
ever. I think BIG things are in store for these guys. You can check out
their website at www.soulsdemise.com

Uphill Battle Continues...
A lot of people have been asking us how the CD is coming along and want
to know when it is going to be released. We appreciate all of your
interest and support and want to keep everybody posted.
We have finished tracking most of the lead vocals and John did an
outstanding job! Rob has also finished most of his guitar overdubs and
solos and will probably be done with all of his parts this weekend.
Things are moving slower than we hoped, but we are making progress and
are extremely happy with the results so far. We are an independant
metal band trying our best to put everything that we have into the
creation of our music. We are working in a state-of-the-art studio and
putting in countless hours to create a quality product that will not
let anyone down. The quality of the production, performances as well as
the artwork and packaging are of the utmost importance to us.
Needless to say, being an independant band, this is very expensive and
we do not have an unlimited budget. If anyone is interested in making a
donation, it would be greatly appreciated. We will be accepting
donations in ANY amount via Paypal. Even sending a dollar or two will
help us out tremendously and will make it possible for us to finish the
album and release it as soon as possible. We will add you to our e-mail
list and keep you informed about studio progress and upcoming shows.
Also, when the CD is complete we will offer it for sale to anyone that
has made a donation before it is available to the general public.
Thanks for all of your support, we could not do this with out you.

Believe It or Not!
Believe it or not, Eden's Fall is actually making progress in the
studio. It seems that the "Black Cloud of Doom" that seems to follow us
around must have gotten lost and is blowing by Schaumburg, IL, where we
are recording. Rob and Tony have both finished their rhythm guitar
tracks. To see more "Behind the Scenes" video clips, Click HERE. We
will be going back in to start on Bass and Vocals soon.
John never shuts up!
In typical Lead Singer fashion, it seems that our singer John cannot
keep his mouth shut. In this case however, it is a good thing! To read
and interview with John by Metal to Infinity, click the link below:

More Good News!
It just came to our attention that we are being featured as the "Band

Just wanted to let everyone know that things went really well this past
weekend in the studio. The drums are completely finished and came out
sounding killer. We have added some "Behind the Scenes" video clips of
Ray in the studio to the video section of the website.

We will be going back into the studio to start tracking guitars this
Friday. We are hoping for an early to mid fall release. The album will
be titled "Harmony of Lies." Here is the final track list.
1) Dead Thought Matrix
2) Chemical Dreams
3) Planet Hate
4) Liquid Christ
5) We Betray
6) Nothingheart
7) Bleed
8) Lost Again
9) Blur the Lines.
Latest News:
Needless to say, the website is back up. More importantly, we had an
awesome time at Classic Metal Fest. We would like to say thanks to the
people that put it on. They did a great job and treated the bands
really good. Not to mention all of the other cool bands and fans that
came out to the fest. If you missed it this year, make sure to check it
out when in comes back around next year.
WEBSITE TEMPORARILY DOWN!
Please note that as of June 30, 2003 www.edensfall.com will be
temporarily unavailable. This is due to the fact that the hosting
company (attbi.com) is transferring all its websites to new servers on
comcast.net. We will be making all of the necessary changes and hope to
have the website back online by July 1, 2003. We are sorry for any
inconvenience. In the meantime, you can still listen or download the 3
songs from the "Harmony of Lies" sampler below.
WEBSITE UPDATE:
...just wanted to inform everybody about a few changes regarding the
website. First of all, we have a new e-mail address. It seems that
music.com is no longer offering their e-mail service. So, from now on,
our new e-mail address is simply edensfall@edensfall.com (easy
enough?). In addition, we have added some new pictures from a recent
show at PC Lounge. These pictures were taken by Rebecca Harris, so a
big thanks to her for sending them our way.
Also, it has come to our attention that some of the links to the audio
files were not working properly. This has been corrected and all 3
songs from the sampler are available for listening/ downloading. These
are the re-mixed versions from about a year ago. We originally stated
that these were going to be the final album versions. However, we have
decided to re-record these songs for the full length album.
Lastly, out web hosting company (AT&T Broadband Internet /
attbi.com) is phasing out there service and we will be changing servers
soon.
"BLACK CLOUD OF DOOM"
We just wanted to let everybody out there know we're still alive. We
entered the studio a couple of weeks ago to start recording the full
length CD, but in true EDEN'S FALL style, things didn't go so well.
Mainly we had lots of problems with the drum kit.
We go back in two weeks and will start again.
Also , don't forget about Classic Metalfest the weekend of June 27th
& 28th.
We will be playing the 27th at 6:30. We know it's a little early but we
still hope to see some of you at the show.
We will try to keep everyone posted on the progress of the studio.
NEW SHOWS!
We are excited to announce 2 new live shows coming up... We will be
playing next Saturday, February 22nd with WORM at PC Lounge in
Bolingbrook at 9:00pm. The bar is at 132 N Bolingbrook Dr (Route 53, 2
miles south of I-55), Bolingbrook, IL 60440 (630) 739-3555. We will be
debuting one of our new songs, Chemical Dreams, so come check it out!
We will also be performing as part of Classic Metal Fest on June 28th.
It is a 2 day fest featuring 23 bands.
It will be at Oasis One-Sixty, 160 W. Joe Orr Rd., Chicago Heights IL
60411, 708-756-0600.
For more info check out:

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It's been quite a while since the last update, but we have all been
busy around here and hope to make 2003 a BIG year for Eden's Fall! We
have unfortunately had some scheduling conflicts at the studio and it
has delayed the recording of our full length CD. The good news is that
we have taken the time to write 2 new songs to include on the album.
The Album will be called "Harmony of Lies." The tentative songlist is
as follows:
Dead Thought Matrix
Liquid Christ
Bleed
Planet Hate
Blur the Lines
Lost Again
Chemical Dreams
We Betray
Nothing Heart
We are currently in pre-production and will be going back into the
studio soon. We hope to have the CD release by summer and it will be
available for purchase on our website.
SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT:
Just want to let everyone know that we have a show coming up on
September 14th at Champs with our friends from Soul's Demise. See the
SHOWS section for details. Also, we would like to thank Rob Smith for
filling in on bass at our last gig (at JJ Kellys). He did an awesome
job. Depending on Dan's schdule, who is in the process of getting
married and buying a house in September, Rob may jam with the band
again on the 14th. Hope to see you alll there.
FUCK KENTUCKY!
Despite all the obstacles getting there, we finally made it to Metal
Nation in North Carolina and had a great time. Snake and the gang all
did an awesome job putting on the show. The venue, lights and the sound
were killer and we had a great time playing for everyone and getting to
hang out and party with all the other bands. However, things did not
start out so smoothly. Just about everything that could go wrong did on
our way there. To start things off, about a month before the show, our
guitarist (Tony) got smashed in a mosh pit at a Soilwork show and
severely damaged the tendons in one of his legs. Nevertheless, he said
that he was going to do the show no matter what. So after a few
surgeries, a couple of weeks on crutches, some therapy and a bunch of
pain killers, he was able to limp his way on stage. Then, 2 days before
we were set to leave, our drummer (Ray) had a wheel bearing go out on
his van that we were going to take and could not get it fixed in time.
However, we were determined to get to the show. So, the bass player
(Dan) was able to borrow a van to use for the weekend. We left Thursday
afternoon in the van and another car and planned to drive through the
night so that we could get there on Friday to open the festival.
However, that would have been too easy. About 10:00pm Thursday night,
the transmission went out on our second car in the middle of Kentucky.
Needless to say, no one was open to look at it and we had to have it
towed to a hotel and spend the night. If this wasn't enough, as we were
driving to the hotel with all six of us and all of our equipment
smashed like sardines in the van, the back door flew open and all of
our other guitarist's (Rob) clothes flew out and decorated the street.
What a day! Ok, time to crash for the night. There was no way that we
could make it to the gig on time. Nevertheless, we woke up early the
next morning and made a bunch of phone calls and finally got a hold of
Snake. He told us to try to get there and he would reschedule us for
Saturday. Thank God. So, now we had to get the car towed again to have
it looked at. It turned out that the trans was totally gone and would
cost over $2000 to fix and would take 2-3 weeks. Needless to say, we
had no intention of staying in Kentucky or coming back for the car
especially when the 2 grand was more than the car was worth. So, we had
to abandon the car and sell it to the garage owner for parts for $50.
As if the added expense of the hotel room was not enough, now we had to
rent a car to go the rest of the way. Despite all this, we finally made
it and had a blast! It was ALMOST worth it! (well, not quite but at
least we have a funny story to tell ya!)
UPDATE:
Sorry for the late update, but we have been busy around here. We are
getting ready to leave for North Carolina tomorrow to play at Metal
Nation on Friday. It should be about a 19 hour drive and will
definately prove to be very interesting (if we survive to remember any
of it). In preparation for this, we have completely re-mixed and
mastered the 3 songs from our demo and are re-releasing them as a "3
song sampler" from the soon-to-be released full length CD entitled
"Harmony of Lies." The sound improvement is incredible! There is not
even a comparison between the demo versions and these new final album
versions. Thanks again to Sean McKee for all his time and effort. If
you would like a copy of the sampler, e-mail us or come to one of our
shows. Speaking of shows, we are going to be playing at JJ Kelly's in
Lansing, IL on July 13th along with a bunch of other bands at an all
day event run by Crazy J's metal cable TV show. We will be going on at
5:00pm and our good friend Rob Smith will be filling in on bass. Should
be a fun time, so if you can't make it to Raleigh, NC for Metal Nation
2002, be sure to come out to Kelly's and support local metal.
R O A D T R I P ! ! !
We'd like to thank all of you that have requested us on SnakeNET.
Thanks to all of you, SnakeNET has asked us to perform live in Raleigh,
North Carolina at Metal Nation 2002: The Gathering. In case you live
under a rock somewhere and have no clue what is going on in the world
of metal, Metal Nation is a 3 day festival taking place June 28th, 29th
and 30th featuring over 40 bands from all over the US and Europe
sponsored by our good friends at SnakeNET. We are very excited to be
part of it and will be performing Friday June 28th at 6:55pm. If you
can get out there, it sounds like a not-to-be-missed event (not to
mention the parties afterward!) So, come on out and enjoy 3 days of
non-stop metal! For more info, see www.metal-nation.com
JOIN US FOR A NIGHT OF
METAL...
We had so much fun jammin' with Highspeedirt that we are doin' it
again!!! And if that wasn't enough to get you off your lazy ass to come
out, our good friends from Soul's Demise will be playing too!!! If you
haven't seen these guys yet, you've got to check 'em out. We will all
be tearing the roof off of Champs Rock Room in Burbank, IL on April 20.
If you are into "No Bullshit" HEAVY metal (...and I know you are),
DON'T MISS THIS SHOW! Champs is located at 5728 W. 87th Street in
Burbank, IL. Their phone number is 708-499-4140. See SHOWS section for
our latest poster.
LIVE... THIS FRIDAY!!!
Nothing like waiting until the last minute to update the webpage...
Nevertheless, I wanted to inform everyone that Eden's Fall will be
playing LIVE this friday (March 15th) at Luney Tunes in Chicago. We
will be performing with a kick ass Megadeth tribute called High Speed
Dirt. We will be playing first, so try to get there early and be sure
to stay late and party with us and get drunk and rowdy for the High
Speed Dirt show. The bar is located at 2742 N. Laramie in Chicago, IL
Their phone number is 773-836-7674. The club is finally booking local
metal bands thanks to Scott Davidson from Rebel Radio, see be sure to
come out and support the scene! Also, if you haven't seen us in a
while, we have a few cool new original tunes as well as the addition of
our own version of Black Sabbath's "Children of the Grave."
"@HOMEless"
Thanks to the recent bankruptcy of @HOME Internet Provider, our site
(and 4.3 million others) suddenly went down without ANY notice last
Saturday. Fortunately, AT&T Broadband stepped in and got things
back up and running in fairly short order. Unfortunately, we had to
modify hundreds of lines of code in order to get the site back up on
the new server. Hopefully, all should be back to normal soon! The good
news is that we have a show coming up in January and a couple new
songs. Check out the new "Shows" section for more info.
UPCOMING SHOW !
LAST MINUTE SHOW!!! Eden's Fall will be performing LIVE at JJ Kelley's
in Lansing on October 12th with national touring band, Single Bullet
Theory. Unfortunatly, we were added to the show too late to be listed
in the entertainer. So, try to make it out and SPREAD THE WORD! It
should be a great time and we will (of course) be giving away lots of
CDs.
UPCOMING SHOW !
Eden's Falls is proud to announce that we will be performing live at
Champs in Burbank on November 2nd with Soul's Demise. We will be going
on first, so try to get there early. Despite a severed tendon in our
guitarist's hand (Tony) and our bass player's broken wrist (Dan), we
are really looking forward to playing out again. Plus, we are writing
some new (killer) songs and hope to have 2 of them ready for the show!
WEBPAGE UPDATE:
The MP3's for the 3 songs from our demo are now available on the
webpage to listen to and/or download! Check 'em out!!!
Our 3-song Demo CD is finally finished!!! A big thanks to Sean McKee
from Sensory Technologies for all his time and effort to make it a
reality! We are very happy with how it turned out and are looking
forward to getting back to writing and playing shows. We will be giving
the CDs away for free at all of our upcoming shows and at any local
metal events that we attend. If you would like a copy, send us an
e-mail with your mailing address and we will send ya one.

upcoming full length CD. They will be releasing a (free) 3 song sampler
CD soon! Tracks to be included are: Lost Again, Bleed, and We Betray.

time to start writing a few new tunes. We hope to book a show sometime
in August and have a couple new tunes and our sampler to give away...
